September is Hunger Action Month

Food banks across the country are encouraging people to take action against hunger in their communities. You can make a difference by organizing or contributing to a food drive, making a monetary donation, or volunteering your time at a food bank or soup kitchen. Use the Greater Boston Food Bank’s food assistance locator to find food pantry and meal programs near you.

From Gold Awardees starting community gardens to troops making food bank contributions through Cookies for a Cause, we know that Girl Scouts are making a big impact on hunger. We want to hear from you—what are you doing this month to help fight hunger? Have you done a related service project in the past or do you have one planned for the upcoming year? Share your stories.
