Girl Scouts show their thanks

With Thankgiving tomorrow, we wanted to take this moment to recognize the different ways our Girl Scouts give back to their communities. We are thankful for their efforts and proud of all the great work they have done to make the world a better place!

  • Natick Girl Scouts planted daffodil bulbs along the Boston Marathon route.
  • North Reading Girl Scouts decorated the Welcome to North Reading sign for the town’s 300th birthday.
  • Westwood Girl Scouts are holding a winter clothing drive.
  • Back Bay Girl Scouts are collecting linens.
  • Easton, Westford, Scituate, Chelsea, Falmouth and many other troops honored their town’s veterans on Veteran’s day.
  • Canton Girl Scouts collected over 1,700 bikes for those less fortunate and donated canned goods to the local food pantry.
  • Duxbury and Saugus Girl Scouts pitched in to clean up their communities.
  • Sharon Girl Scouts donated birthday boxes to the local food pantry.

These are just a few of the many activities our troops are involved in. If we missed your troop or service unit, let us know what you have been doing for the community.
