Have you ever wondered what would happen if the characters in The Hunger Games were replaced with Girl Scout cookies? No? Well, we have. And we’ve compiled our thoughts into this list of characters and what we believe is their spirit cookie.
There is no cookie quite like Caramel deLites, and the same can be said for the Mockingjay herself, Katniss Everdeen. The toasted coconut, in conjunction with caramel and chocolate, gives this cookie a unique and intense texture and flavor. Our fierce protagonist is known for her intensity and rebellious spirit, as well as her deep love for her friends and family, making her a dynamic match for our cookie of many layers.
Aside from the obvious “bread” connection, Peeta Mellark is the Shortbreadcookie—traditional and reliable, just like our Hunger Games hero.
The Peanut Butter Sandwich pairs a crunchy oatmeal exterior with a creamy peanut butter filling. Reminds us of District 12 hunter, Gale Hawthorne—intense and tough on the outside, with a soft spot for his best friend Katniss.
The Thanks-A-Lotis a classic, just like Primrose Everdeen. Like the cookie, she exudes gratitude, specifically for her loving and brave big sister.
Cranberry Citrus Crisps are known for their standout flavor and zest, clearly making it the cookie counterpart to everyone’s favorite Capitol citizen, Effie Trinket. And just like Cranberry Citrus Crisps contain no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, Effie too proves to be the real deal.

When you think of a crowd-pleasing Girl Scout cookie, Thin Mints come to mind (it’s the top seller!). Much like fan-favorite Cinna, it proves that you don’t have to go overboard to be popular. Cinna’s creativity, paired with his fresh perspective combine in a powerful way—kind of like chocolate and mint!Peanut Butter Patties have many layers, just like District 4 champion Finnick Odair. Peanut Butter Patties feature smooth peanut butter, a sweet chocolate coating and a crunchy cookie; Finnick is a smooth-talker, a sweet lover and an aggressive rebel.
The newest Girl Scout cookie on the block, Trios are named after their three main components: peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chips. Plutarch Heavensbee, Head Gamemaker for the 75th Hunger Games, shows that he too has many sides, including a big secret (no spoilers here!). Also surprising is that these Trios cookies are… gluten free! Plutarch would agree that selling cookies for everyone to enjoy, regardless of their allergy, is what is best for the people.
