Just two weeks remain to apply for the GSEM Scholarship! Two awards of $1,500 each will be given to two graduating Girl Scouts for post-high school study. These scholarships are awarded to girls in celebration of their extraordinary leadership, community engagement and personal commitment to the Girl Scout mission. A girl must complete an online application and have two online recommendation letters submitted by 3 PM on Friday, March 4. More information can be found in the FAQ here. Last year’s awardees, Youssr and Katie, shine as great examples of girl leadership. Both put their scholarships toward earning their post-secondary degrees—in chemical engineering and nutritional sciences/public health, respectively—at local universities.
