Today, February 22, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world are celebrating World Thinking Day (WTD). World Thinking Day rallies the global sisterhood around a particular theme—and this year’s theme is “Connect.”
Our CEO, Patricia Parcellin, helps us honor this occasion with a special message:
As Girl Scouts founder, Juliette Gordon Low once said about our Movement, “Ours is a circle of friendships united by ideals.” Every February 22, we join sister Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the globe—representing 146 countries in all—to celebrate World Thinking Day. This year’s theme, “Connect,” provides a wonderful opportunity to explore our place in the world. Whether it is connecting with community, with friends or even with ourselves, today is a great time to reflect on our contributions—past, present and future—and the many ways in which we can work together to make a difference.
