Volunteers from the Boston and Roxbury Service Units kicked-off the new troop year with a volunteer camping weekend at Camp Cedar Hill. They participated in team building exercises and games, and began planning their next service unit encampment. Veteran troop leaders taught new volunteers Girl Scout songs and traditions, as well as how to build a fire. Some volunteers had never been camping before, but they are now well prepared for many more!
